Bill was a long time supporter of both Hoddesdon Cricket Club and Hoddesdon Football Club and was a generous contributor to the Cricket Club through the Friends of Hoddesdon.

His funeral will be held at Wollensbrook on Friday 4th August at 1pm and afterwards at the College Arms in Hertford Heath
