Lightning has officially struck twice at Hoddesdon Cricket Club — and the man holding the conductor’s rod is none other than Joe Cuffaro, who has incredibly won the Bonus Ball draw for the second time in just a few weeks!

Yes, you read that right — ball number 15 has come up again, and with Joe’s name attached to it, he pockets another £25 to add to his recent winnings. If his previous win was poetic, given his role as the club’s treasurer, this one’s just plain outrageous!

You’d be forgiven for suspecting some sort of financial wizardry, but rest assured, everything’s above board — just good old-fashioned luck. Joe, who carefully manages Hoddesdon CC’s finances behind the scenes, now finds himself not just balancing the books, but boosting them with back-to-back Bonus Ball victories.

The club community has reacted with a mix of disbelief, applause, and a few playful accusations of “rigging” from jealous mates — all in good humour, of course. After all, it’s hard not to smile when someone so committed to the club gets a double dose of fortune.

Let’s not forget, Joe is also the proud father of Rocco Cuffaro, a promising young batsman making waves in the Second XI — and now, it seems, his dad is showing he’s got serious form of his own, at least in the luck department.
