PRESIDENT'S DAY 2025

A day of Cricket, Community and Celebration

FREE ENTRY

Sunday 13th July 2025
Hoddesdon Cricket Club, Lowfield
Lunch Tickets £45 (advance purchase only)

Hoddesdon Cricket Club warmly invites you to this year’s President’s Day – a highlight in the club calendar and, in 2025, a particularly special and poignant occasion. This year’s event will honour the life and legacy of Nick Gandon, our much-loved Club President, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Nick was a giant of Hoddy CC – a dedicated player, leader, coach, and above all, a true believer in the power of sport to transform lives. In tribute to his extraordinary impact on our club and far beyond, the majority of proceeds from the day will go to the Gandon Prodger Legacy Fund (GPLF) – a charitable initiative set up in Nick’s name and that of his great friend and fellow cricket advocate, Simon Prodger.

THE MATCH: HODDY CC v PRESIDENT’S XI

This year’s fixture will see the home side face a President’s XI – a team hand-picked from Nick’s wide circle of cricketing friends, family and associates, bringing together talent, rivalry, and warm-spirited competition in equal measure. Expect a day of quality cricket, fierce camaraderie and a few grudge scores to settle.
