Local legend, Gagan, is an ECB Level 3 coach and has been heavily involved with coaching in the local area at Broxbourne for a number of years and has a long standing coaching relationship with many of Hoddesdons playing members.

On his appointment to Hoddesdon Head Coach, club chairman, Ian Munday, had this to say “We are absolutely delighted that Gagan has joined us as a player and has accepted the Head Club Coach role. During the various meetings that members of our cricket and main committees have held with Gagan regarding this post, it was very evident that his ideas of how to move the club forwards, matches with ours. Gagan already has strong connections at the club where he coaches many of our members in his role as a local cricket coach and his strong levels of expertise and experience will help improve our coaching and playing levels. We are thrilled that Gagan has chosen Hoddesdon as his next destination for a head coach role and to play his cricket. We believe this is just the start of a relationship that can grow and grow and we are all so excited for him to have him as part of the growing Hoddesdon family”

Gagan will take charge of senior training sessions as well as working with juniors in the winter nets. Gagan will also be providing the opportunity for 1-1s for juniors and seniors during the season – more details will follow.
